They are discussing an aerial voyage from London to Weilberg. Physical Description Charles Green, accompanied by Robert Holland, who financed the flight, and Monck Mason, ascended from Vauxhall Gardens at 1:30 p.m. on November 7, 1836. They crossed the channel at Dover that evening, and landed at 7 a.m., November 8, at Weilburg, Nassau, Germany, having travelled altogether about five hundred miles in eighteen hours. This print is based on a painting by John Hollins that is now in the National Portrait Gallery in London.
